finding a cure for “charlie brown” syndrome

07 Jul

so today, i’m actually going to point you to an article i read recently that really touched on something that i’m guilty of.  i call it the “charlie brown syndrome.”  (maybe i should spell it sindrome…)

and i’m guilty.

guilty.  guilty.  guilty.

maybe i’m not alone, either.  considering the feedback and comments that this guy is getting from his post, i doubt i am.

so here.  read this.  be inspired.

“just us”… a new type of neckheld

21 Jun

at the suggestion of some feedback, i’ve decided to branch out a little from the leather-bounds.

this type of binding allows for more color and for words to actually be incorporated onto the cover. also, by using different colors and prints on each cover, you have the option for a reversible wearable design.

basically, it’s what i do for my big journals… just in a much smaller, much more hand-cramping-to-make form.

this is the first one of my brainstorm batch.

to get more of a description of the overall neckheld, go here.

binding/page shots

(i’ve done an accordion binding/page with this book instead of my normal binding.)

we’ll see, we’ll see… :)
